Manufacturing
Austin Wood Works, Inc. has invested over $800,000 just in
machinery over the past two years to provide our customers with
the most consistent ,accurate, and on time product available in
the custom cabinet market. We have many panel processing machines
all linked together through computers giving us unparalleled
control of our quality and production speed. What this means to
our customers is that we can give you what you want, when you want
it.

This is our 30,000 sq ft
manufacturing plant located in Leander, TX

When a job is ready to enter
production, all cabinets are checked for accuracy to ensure a
smooth flow through the manufacturing process.
|
|
Once a job is put into
production, it is first sent to one of our three CNC Panel Saws,
where all cabinet interior parts are cut and sorted into jobs.
|
|
As parts are cut out on the CNC
Panel Saw, labels are applied to each individual part. Those
parts are then scanned with the barcode reader for panel
processing.
|
|
Parts are then processed on one
of our two CNC Routers. CNC Routers process all construction
joints into the cabinet parts for fast and accurate assembly.
|
|
Our state-of-the-art edgebander
produces flawless shelf edges consistently all day long.
|
|
Our pre-finish shop is where
the beauty of our cabinets comes to life. After applying our
seven step conversion varnish finish, the cabinets are then
placed in an oven to achieve a "rock hard" baked finish.
